"Poppy the deer mouse urges her family to move next to a field of corn big enough to feed them all forever, but Mr. Ocax, a terrifying owl, has other ideas." -Novelist K-8 Plus
Does your family have what it takes to join the Book Scouts? If you're ready to discuss a novel with other families and do fun STEAM activities to extend your worldview, this is the group for you! Adult caregivers with children in grades K-4 are invited to join our spring session of Book Scouts to learn more about maps, forest life, food chains and more. Older and younger siblings are welcome to attend the meetings, too.
If you are interested in joining Book Scouts, pick up the Spring 2023 title, Poppy, at the Youth Services desk starting March 1 2023. The book is yours to keep!
