Telling a People's Story Virtual Storytime

Join us for a virtual storytime featuring books from the Telling a People's Story exhibit.

Families and children of all ages can attend this virtual storytime on Reed Memorial Library's Facebook Live. We will be reading stories selected from the Telling a People's Story exhibit, which will be displayed at the library for the month of April. The exhibit features children's picture books by Black authors and illustrators, and raises awareness of how Black authors and illustrators have helped develop children's literature throughout the years. Enjoy the stories and illustrations highlighted during this event, and allow the topics and themes in the stories to inspire conversation with your children and family.
