Developed in the 16th century, the shakuhachi is a Japanese end-blown flute traditionally made of bamboo. Join us for an introduction to the instrument and a guided meditation session with ethnomusicologist and musician Lydia Snyder. Bring your own bench, pillow or whatever you use to meditate and enjoy the sounds of this traditional Japanese instrument. Limited to 15 participants.
