Use your creativity to make a tiny bit of "Celestial" art and exhibit it at the library alongside works created by your friends, family and neighbors.
Our theme for this year's tiny art show is celestial. We've experienced a total solar eclipse, the northern lights, metor showers and plenty of astronomical events this year to inspire your art. On your canvas, you may create art with any medium you prefer: paint, pastels, collage, pencils, markers, etc. The only rules are that you cannot change the size of your art (tiny) and that the finished work should be family-friendly.
Anyone age 12 and over may register for a canvas. Registrants may pick up their canvas at our checkout desk, beginning Monday, August 5th. Take it home, create your artwork and bring it back to the library no later than Saturday, August 24th.
The Tiny Art Show opens September 1st and will be on display all month in the library gallery.
