Our annual Reedfest summer kickoff

Join us at a free rodeo-themed summer kickoff in partnership with Ravenna Parks & Recreation!

Saddle up and kickoff a summer full of wild west activities with an evening full of fun for all ages. This year's summer evokes the wild west - cowboys, horses, cattle, cactus, mountains, and wide open spaces. We've joined with Ravenna Parks & Recreation and we'll fill Ravenna City Park with a petting zoo, crafts, food trucks, square dancing, games, and more family activities. We'll have free snow cones for kids through age 17, while supplies last. 

You can also sign up for our Readin' Rodeo, the library's summer challenge. All ages are eligible. When you sign up, kids will get Ohio State Fair vouchers and we'll have $10 off Ohio State Park vouchers for adults. The summer challenge is full of fun activities, prizes, and (of course) reading. Kick off a summer to remember with us at Rodeo Night. Admission and all activities are free; tasty food may be purchased from our food truck vendors.
