Wound, Oksana Vasyakina’s debut autobiographical novel, takes us on a road trip to bring her dead mother’s ashes to her home, a remote Siberian town. In her narrative, Oksana Vasyakina explores questions about womanhood, motherhood, abuse, pain, perseverance, resilience, and personal choices, including the courage to claim one’s identity against all odds. Oksana Vasyakina is an award winning Russian poet and activist, and her debut autobiographical novel mixes narrative with poetry. Limited to 15 people.
