Join us and express yourself by combining ink drawing with haiku to learn about the Japanese haiga tradition.
Haiga is a style of Japanese painting that combines illustration and short form haiku poetry. Come on in and reflect on the simple things while we discuss the tradition and work to create our own haiga paintings. Participants will be asked to create an ink drawing and a haiku based on a series of prompts. Be willing to discuss your work. Limited to 15 participants.
