Continue the Douglass Day legacy and transcribe historical documents with the We the People initiative. This year's documents belong to Mary Church Terrell, civil rights activist and a NAACP founder.
Douglass Day is a yearly celebration promoting education and community activism in honor of Frederick Douglass’s legacy. Chat with attendees both in our library group and from all over the country. Douglass Day organizers will present on the history of Douglass Day and the life and work of Mary Church Terrell. Stay to learn how to transcribe historical documents for future generations to read on the Library of Congress website.
