Buckeye Children's and Teen Book Award

BCTBA is a children's readers' choice award for the state of Ohio. Children can vote for their favorite book among the nominees at the RML polling location.

This Ohio readers' choice award is entirely for and by kids - the kids nominate the books and then the kids vote for the books. Do your part to choose this year's winners. Stop into the library between October 20 and November 10 to register for your official BCTBA ballot, then submit your vote.

Prepare to vote by reviewing your ballot before you arrive. Use the links below to find or request copies of the books from the library. Remember, you can choose only one book, so be sure to choose carefully!

Grades K-2 Ballot:

• Shelby’s Story: A Dog’s Way Home Tale by W. Bruce Cameron
• Torpedoed: The True Story of the World War II Sinking of “The Children’s Ship” by Deborah Heiligman
