Jack and the Beanstalk & STEAM Virtual Challenge

Listen to the classic fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk, and learn the science of growing beans. Plant and grow your very own beanstalk that you will care for and watch as it grows.

Let's connect a fairy tale to real-life science! After reading Jack and the Beanstalk, we will learn about the life cycle of a bean plant and what it needs to survive. After learning about the life cycle, we will view a bean plant and visualize what your bean plant will look like once fully grown. Then, you will have the chance to decorate your own planting pot where your bean plant will grow. We will provide tips for caring for your plant, and you will have your planted beanstalk to care for.  

Register for this event and we will contact you with information on when kits are available to pick up. Directions and materials will be provided. Quantities are limited.
